CA Output Management Web Viewer allows the System Administrator to both import and export Repositories, Roles, Profiles, Users, and Directories.
For example, you can export a Repository from one CA Output Management Web Viewer system as a backup and then import it into another CA Output Management Web Viewer system later.
Additionally, you can import many users into CA Output Management Web Viewer from an external file, if it is a correctly formatted XML.file.
Also, the import section of CA Output Management Web Viewer Version 12.0 is used to complete the upgrade procedure, when upgrading from CA Output Management Web Viewer r11.5.
Important! Do not use this export feature in place of regular backups of your CA Output Management Web Viewer database. The export feature exports only some of the admin objects, not system preferences, favorites, and other runtime objects stored in the CA Output Management Web Viewer database.
