Export Admin Objects

You can export admin objects for use from one CA Output Management Web Viewer system for use in another.

Follow these steps:

1. Click the Administration Tab.
2. Click the Repository subtab, if necessary.

   Note: The same export dialog is displayed from the Repository, Role, Profile, Directory, and User tabs, so you can trigger the dialog from any of these subtabs.

3. Click Export (above the Repository list).
4. Select any of the following optional objects that you want to display:
   • Repositories
   • Role
   • Profile
   • User
   • Directory
5. Click Next.

   You are prompted to download an xml file for the first selected object type.

6. Click Save and select a location to save the file.

   The file contains an xml representation of the objects of the selected type in your database.

7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for each selected object type.
8. (Optional) Click Retry to restart the download from the previous pane.
9. Click Finish.
