Create the Federated CI Mappings

Create the Federated CI Mappings to complete the integration between CA BSI and CA SDM. This mapping provides information about a CI. In this example, you map Service 1 and Contract 7 to the BSI MDR.

Follow these steps:

1. On the Administration tab, click CA CMDB, MDR Management, Federated CI Mapping.
2. Click Create New.
3. Complete the following fields:
   • Enter Service 1 as the CI Name and Federated Asset ID.
   • Enter BSI as the MDR Name.

   Important! Verify that you enter the same Federated Asset ID as the Service and Contract names in CA BSI.

4. Click Save and close the window.
5. Create another mapping and complete the following fields:
   • Enter Contract 7 as the CI Name and Federated Asset ID.
   • Enter BSI as the MDR Name.
6. Click Save and close the window.
