Edit an Object Manager

You can edit object managers.

To edit an object manager

  1. From the Object Manager submenu, select e, and press Enter.

A prompt requests Please Enter Key.

Note: This key value is shown in the object manager list and is constructed automatically for you whenever an object manager is added. The key is in a hostname: # format. # is an integer in sequential order with the maximum number equal to the total of object managers on the specified host. For example, if two object managers exist on the primary server and two object managers exist on a secondary server (host name=‘godzilla’), the keys would be: ‘primary:'1’, ‘primary:2’, ‘godzilla:1’, and ‘godzilla:2’.

  2. Enter the key (godzilla:1) you want, and press Enter.

    A prompt requests Group.

  3. Press Enter to accept the displayed value 'as is', or modify the value by entering a group value, and press Enter.

    A prompt requests Accept Mask.

  4. Press Enter to accept the displayed value 'as is', or modify the value by entering an Access Mask value, and press Enter.

    A prompt requests Display.

  5. Press Enter to accept the displayed value 'as is' or modify the value by entering a Display value, and press Enter.

The Object Manager submenu appears and the object manager is edited.
