Archive and Purge Knowledge Management Forums

You can use archive and purge rules to remove deleted forums from the database. You can create an archive and purge rule to archive and purge only forum type documents.

Note: If you do not create an archive and purge rule, the existing Knowledge Document rule can archive and purge all deleted documents including the forum type documents.

To create a rule to archive and purge forums

  1. Navigate to Archive and Purge, Archive and Purge Rules on the Administration tab.

    The Archive and Purge Rule List appears.

  2. Click Create New.

    The Create New Archive and Purge Rule page appears.

  3. Do the following:

    The new archive and purge rule is created.
