Add a UNIX Converter

The pdm_edit.pl utility lets you add a single UNIX converter to any one of the servers in your system.

To add a UNIX Converter

1. From the pdm_edit.pl top menu select N, and press Enter.

   The UNIX converter submenu appears.

2. Select A, and press Enter.

   A prompt requests a hostname.

3. Enter primary for the primary server or the hostname of a secondary server, and press Enter.

   A prompt requests an IP address.

4. Enter HOST_IP_REPLACE if the UNIX converter is on the primary server; otherwise, enter the IP of the secondary server.

   The UNIX converter is added to the system.
