Add Web Directors
You can add web directors. Each web director defined in pdm_edit.pl must have a unique CGI I/F value. The CGI I/F name is automatically generated for you; however, the suggested CGI I/F name can be manually overridden to reflect any CGI naming scheme you want.
Consider the following before you add web directors:
- If you are using an HTTP server like IIS or Apache, you must have a correctly named pdmweb_d[#].exe in the $NX_ROOT/bopcfg/www/wwroot directory.
- If you are using a servlet server like Tomcat, you get a sample web.xml.tpl file. This file is named <hostname>-web.xml.tpl and is located in the working directory. Use this file to replace the $NX_ROOT/bopcfg/www/CATALINA_BASE/webapps/CAisd/WEB-INF/web.xml.tpl file on the appropriate server.
To add web directors
- From the Web Director submenu, select a, and press Enter.
A prompt requests the hostname.

- Press Enter.
A prompt requests a name for the CGI Interface.
- Press Enter to accept the displayed value or manually enter the value you want, and press Enter.
The Web Director submenu appears and the newly added web director is listed.
