When a ticket is saved with a category or area that is linked to a CA Workflow process definition, an instance of the definition is created. The progress of the instance is displayed on the Workflow Tasks tab of the ticket. Because CA Workflow may include branches, only completed and pending work items are displayed.
Each completed and pending work item, and the status of the overall workflow is displayed on the Workflow Tasks tab. Clicking on the Activity Name link displays the CA Workflow Worklist web application, which is used to complete individual work items.
The data for the Workflow tab is fetched directly from the CA Workflow server. If the CA Workflow server is unavailable, an error message is displayed in the tab.
