Download the Upgrade Files
Copy the installation/upgrade files to the installation server so you are certain to have access to the files.
- Get the files for installing or upgrading the components:
- Log in to ca.support.com.
- Navigate to the Download Center at ca.support.com: For example, select Download Center from the Support menu in the left pane.
- Select the following navigation options:
- Select a Product: Select 'CA Network Flow Analysis - MULTI-PLATFORM' to display the links for the NFA console, Harvester (Windows), Harvester (Linux), DSA, and CA Anomaly Detector installation and upgrade ISO files.
- Select a Release: Select '9.2.'
- Select a Gen level: Select '00' or the equivalent.
- Download the ISO files from the Product Components list that is displayed.
Note: An ISO file is an archive file that contains the contents of an optical disk. Each one of the available ISO files contains the files for installing or upgrading the component named in the file link.
- Perform one of the following tasks:
- Burn the ISO files to a CD-ROM or DVD.
- Extract the contents of the ISO files by using an ISO image software application. Many ISO image applications are free.
- Extract the appropriate files to the installation servers:
- Stand-alone servers:
- NFHarvesterSetup9.2.0.exe
- RAConsoleSetup9.2.0.exe
- (If switching from using NPC to using CA PC) consoletool-exe.jar *
- Windows Harvester servers in distributed deployments:
- NFHarvesterSetup9.2.0.exe
- Linux Harvester servers in distributed deployments:
- NFHarvesterSetup9.2.0.bin
- NFA console servers in distributed deployments:
- RAConsoleSetup9.2.0.exe
- (If switching from using NPC to using CA PC) consoletool-exe.jar *
- DSA servers in three-tier distributed deployments:
* The consoletool-exe.jar file for the current release is different from the consoletool-exe.jar file for release 9.1.3. If you need the Console tool. download the new version.
You can install or upgrade the software locally or remotely.
