You can use Administration rules to identify the type of traffic you want to map to a specific target port. All packets that match the specified criteria are mapped to the target port. You can identify the traffic to map by ToS or by a combination of protocol with subnet/port range or server/port/ToS. The specified combination of values is compared to the IP header of each packet.
The following priorities apply to application mapping when rules conflict. A rule takes precedence when its criteria are ranked higher than the criteria of another rule.
Example of traffic to monitor: Single application on a server.
Example of traffic to monitor: Specified service type.
Example of traffic to monitor: Server traffic.
Example of traffic to monitor: Traffic that originates from a particular network or application.
