How Deployment Works
Before you proceed to perform multisystem deployment, you should have one properly configured region.
Typically, deployment consists of the following stages:
- Create a generic RUNSYSIN member and a generic initialization file for sharing between regions.
- Copy the required data sets to and allocate them on the target systems.
- Deploy started task members on target systems.
- APF authorize load libraries on target systems.
- Determine focal and subordinate regions.
- Link regions to create the multisystem environment.
