How Deployment Works

Before you proceed to perform multisystem deployment, you should have one properly configured region.

Typically, deployment consists of the following stages:

Create a generic RUNSYSIN member and a generic initialization file for sharing between regions.
Copy the required data sets to and allocate them on the target systems.
Deploy started task members on target systems.
APF authorize load libraries on target systems.
Determine focal and subordinate regions.
Link regions to create the multisystem environment.
