You can access subarea resources using the NCS : Subarea Menu. When you select one of the options, NCS presents a summary list for that type of resource.

This menu contains the following options:
Displays a list of application major nodes.
Displays a summary of clusters by major node.
Displays a summary of cross domain managers by major node.
Displays a summary of lines by major node.
Displays a list of major nodes.
Displays a list of pending nodes (not available for Fujitsu VTAM-G).
Displays a summary of cross domain resources by major node.
Displays a summary of link stations by major node.
Displays a summary of terminals by major node.
Displays a list of INMC links to other regions.
NCS monitors the nodes in the domain in which it is running, or any domain connected using an INMC link.
To select which domains to include on the summary displays
The NCS : INMC Link Selection panel appears, showing the current domain in which NCS is running and any links to other domains.
Note: At least one domain must be selected. The local domain is always displayed at the head of the list, with the other domains in link-name order.
Press Enter.
** SELECTED ** displays next to the domains that you have selected.
Your selections are saved and the NCS : Subarea Menu appears.
Note: If you are monitoring resources in multiple domains, your user ID must be defined in the remote region for those domains.
