Determine Problems by Tracing Sessions

Trace data consists of copies of Path Information Units (PIUs) flowing on the session. You can examine this information to determine the cause of unsuccessful session activation.

When a trace is performed, information is placed in the following queues:

Initial Trace Queue

Useful for searching for session start parameters, such as BIND, ACTPU, ACTLU, or ACTCDRM.

Final Trace Queue

Displays subsequent PIUs after the initial queue is full or session establishment is complete.
