Using the short set of menus that are described in Section
1.5 of this guide, you will arrive at the Resource Component
Analysis screen shown in Figure 13-1.08. This figure shows
the control parameters that were used to generate the
Resource Component Analysis query in this case study.

Note that this sample study is conducted using a "typical"
days activity and the entire days usage will be selected as
input. Two systems, SYS1 and SYS2, are incorporated in the
study; together they are used for a variety of developement
and production purposes.
The data elements used to analyze the CPUTOBTM value are
specified in the "Specify Two or More Independent Elements
Below" list. For the first execution, we have included both
the 'average' and 'maximum' values for each of the basic
workloads: batch; TSO, STC and USS. This decision was made
to determine if there were significant differences among
these values and which set would be better used for the final
analysis.
