7.3.3 R-Square Ranking Report

The R-Square Ranking report provides you with an overview of
the results of all of the forecasts performed during this
forecasting run. The report is presented in ascending R-
Square sequence and gives the r-square, f-statistic, and p-
values for the statistical model generated.

If either the r-square or p-value for the run exceeds the
thresholds set for the report, the Warning Flag column will
be set to show the which threshold was exceeded. If the flag
is set to RS-WARN then the r-square for this particular
forecast was below the threshold; if the flag is set to
P-WARN then one of the p-values for one of the variables in
the model was exceeded. If both thresholds are exceeded then
the RS-WARN takes precedence.

The other fields on this report correspond to the equivalent
values found on the other reports associated with the
forecasting process.

You can use the R-Square Ranking report to review the results
of all your forecasts and to indicate whether you need
take to take further action. For example, you may wish to
review the Model Analysis report or the Residual Analysis
report to see what may be affecting these results. We
recommend that for critical workloads you review these other
reports regardless of whether or not they are flagged on this
report.
