2.3 Activating Accounting for Data Sources


The checklists in this section describe how to activate
accounting for the following data sources:

o CA MICS Analyzers
o Field-developed applications
o External files
o CA MICS I/S Inventory and Assets Manager (CA MICS IAM)

Before following the checklists in this section, you must:

o Define a CA MICS database complex and generate at least one
  database unit by following the checklists in Chapter 3 of
  the PIOM.

o For external file at unit level, complete the checklist in
  Section 2.3.4 of this guide.

Use these checklists when CA MICS Accounting and Chargeback
Option is installed for one of the data sources listed above.
