7. PARAMETERS

The VM Data Transfer Program employs both internal and
transfer parameters.

Internal parameters are set inside EXECs that use the
transfer parameters.  Internal parameters are used only for
modifying the transfer program--not for data transfer.  See
Chapter 10, Exits and Modifications, for information on the
internal parameters.

Transfer parameters, described in this chapter, select
processing options and data sources.  They are set on the VM
Data Transfer Program parameter panels, which are accessed in
CMS with the VMTXMIT PARMS command.  Use the worksheet in
Figure 7-5 to collect the information for the panels.
