Process Priority

The NSCHED process priority is set to 6 by default. You can carefully alter this process by editing the value of the symbol NSCHED_PRIORITY within the Job Management Manager main startup procedure SYS$STARTUP:UJM$MANAGER$STARTUP.COM. Job Management jobs run at a default priority of 4, adjustable using the logical name NSCHED$DEFAULT_JOB_PRI found in the custom startup procedures.
