CA JARS Wizard performs automatic headings for control breaks and grand totals. The headings can be user-defined using an option specified in the BREAK statement.
CA JARS Wizard also automatically accumulates totals for numeric fields. These automatic accumulations can be overridden by specifying special suffixes after the field name in the LIST statement.
On control level breaks, only prints character fields that are defined as BREAK fields are printed. The value of the character field for the control group is printed. All other character fields print as blanks on control total lines.To force printing of character fields on control total lines, the field must be given the suffix (CT), (DF) or (DL), or moved to work areas defined with the (K) suffix. The suffix (K) leaves the data manipulation on these fields to the user, and outputs the current contents of the field at print time.
