Input used by CA JARS Wizard

There are two categories of input accepted by this product for reporting. They are:

• CA JARS created history or summary files
• User created or defined data

CA JARS created data includes glossary formatted:

• History level 6 or level 7 detail files
• summary level 1 through 5 files
• CA JARS Interface output

  Note: For more information,see the "Using CA JARS with Special Environments" chapter in the CA JARS Systems Programmer Guide.

The user created data can be secondary input used as lookup tables or primary input files. Refer to the appropriate chapters in this guide for information on functional characteristics and input statements. User data must be in flat sequential data sets.

The following input is not accepted:

• CA JARS account files
• VSAM keyed (KSDS) or Relative Record (RRDS) data sets
• Indexed files
• Raw SMF files
