Reconnect a Task

To reconnect a terminal to the CA InterTest for CICS breakpoint, use the ITST Monitoring Menu to reconnect a task. Monitoring Menu Option 5 Active‑Tasks, lets you reconnect, disconnect, and purge active tasks. From CICS, enter ITST 2.5 and the following Active Tasks menu appears.

The Active‑Tasks menu lets you type an R next to a task you want to reconnect to your terminal, or type a P next to a task you want to purge.

Note: MRO environments should consult the Installation Guide for reconnection considerations for tested transactions in implicit routing sessions.
