(Optional) Increase File Handles
In Unix, increase CA UAR default number server file handles when integrating with the product. The default file handles limit the opening of too many files that can exhaust system resources. The CA UAR server is only supported on Linux.
Follow these steps:
- On the CA UAR server, navigate to the following location:
/etc/security/
- Edit the limits.conf file. Look for the following caelmservice settings:
- caelmservice soft nofile 4096
- caelmservice hard nofile 4096
- Change both caelmservice settings to 8192.
You have increased file handles on the CA UAR server.
