CA UAR Integration
With CA UAR integration, you can import CA UAR usage data into CA Identity Governance. CA Identity Governance then displays this usage data during certifications. Applications in CA UAR correspond to resources in CA Identity Governance. CA UAR records user access to an application and CA Identity Governance then retrieves this usage data to display during a certification.
For example, before you certify user access to a resource (application), you can review the usage data on how often the user actually accesses the resource.
You enable CA Identity Governance integration with CA UAR per universe.
Perform the following process to enable CA UAR integration:
- Review the prerequisites for CA UAR integration.
- Configure communication between CA Identity Governance and CA UAR, as follows:
- Import CA Identity Governance queries into CA UAR.
- Create a CA UAR security certificate in the keystore of the CA Identity Governance server.
- Register CA Identity Governance on the CA UAR server.
- Update CA Identity Governance properties.
- Map data between CA Identity Governance and CA UAR, as follows:
- Set the application attribute in the CA Identity Governance Universe.
- Map CA UAR applications to applications in the CA Identity Governance universe.
- Update usage data from CA UAR to CA Identity Governance.
- To confirm feature setup, open a configuration of the universe in the entity browser, and verify that usage icons appear for users and resources.
