The HP NonStop SAFEGUARD Connector manages GUARDIAN users and SAFEGUARD alias accounts. Use the HP NonStop SAFEGUARD User Property Sheet when managing your accounts.
Accounts appear in the Provisioning Manager with the account name and user ID fields showing the GUARDIAN user name. If the account name and the user ID are identical, the account is a GUARDIAN user. Otherwise, the account is a SAFEGUARD alias. The user ID must be a valid GUARDIAN user name.
Note: SAFEGUARD alias names are case-sensitive. GUARDIAN user names are not case-sensitive.
