HP NonStop SAFEGUARD Connector

The HP NonStop SAFEGUARD Connector lets you administer all your accounts and groups on HP NonStop Himalaya machines.

Note: SAFEGUARD is an optional HP security product and must be purchased through HP.

The HP NonStop SAFEGUARD Connector provides a single point for all user administration by letting you do the following:

Register endpoints, explore them for objects to manage, and correlate their accounts with global users
Create and manage SAFEGUARD accounts using HP NonStop SAFEGUARD‑specific account templates
Change account passwords and control account activations in one place
Synchronize global users with their roles or synchronize global users' accounts with their account templates
Assign a SAFEGUARD policy to each of your SAFEGUARD endpoints
Use the default Endpoint Type policy to create accounts with the minimum level of security needed to access a SAFEGUARD directory
Create and manage SAFEGUARD groups
Generate and print reports about SAFEGUARD accounts and groups.
