Step 1. Transfer the Files to the HP NonStop SAFEGUARD System

To administer all your accounts and groups on HP NonStop Himalaya machines, you need to install the HP NonStop SAFEGUARD remote agent on each HP NonStop SAFEGUARD server.

To transfer files to the HP NonStop SAFEGUARD System

• If you have FTP access to the endpoint, use the Installation Wizard, and do the following:
  1. Start the CA Identity Manager HP NonStop SAFEGUARD agent.
  2. Enter the following information:
     • The TCP/IP host name of the HP NonStop SAFEGUARD Server
     • The password for SUPER.SUPER
     • The name of the disk volume where the agent will be installed

  Note: The installation program uses this information to transfer the required files to the HP NonStop SAFEGUARD system.

• If FTP access is unavailable, you need to manually transfer the installer to the HP NonStop SAFEGUARD System, and unpack the files:
  1. Transfer the NSK_Remote_Agent_Installer PAKSFGPAK to the NSK machine as a binary file using an appropriate transfer method.
  2. Run UNPAK SFGPAK,($*.*.*),LISTALL,VOL installation_volume
