Set Up Host Protocols

In a stand-alone environment, you need to set up a network protocol for the host.

To set up the host protocol

1. Select the TCP tab in the DSM Properties - Remote Control dialog.
2. Click the Enabled check box.

   Fields on the TCP tab become active.

   Note: Only users with administrator permissions can change the network settings.

3. Click OK.

   Your settings are saved and the DSM Properties - Remote Control dialog closes.
