Create New User Dialog

If your current security provider is Local, the Create New User dialog appears when you click the Add button from the Users tab. This dialog lets you add new users who can connect to your computer.

This dialog contains the following fields:

User Name

Defines the user name. This can be of any length (except zero) and be composed of letters, numbers, and characters used in punctuation.

Note: You cannot use the "\" and "/" characters.

Full Name

(Optional) Defines the full name of the user.

Notes

(Optional) Provides an area where you can enter any noteworthy information for this user.

Password

Defines the user password.

Confirm Password

Confirms that the user password has been entered correctly.

This dialog contains the following buttons:

Change Password

Invokes the Change User Password dialog, letting you update the user's password information.

Create

Creates a new user and adds the user description to the list in the Users tab.
