Disable or Enable the Boot Server Process

When you install a CA ITCM domain manager or scalability server, OSIM boot server is also installed by default on the same computer. If you do not want the computer to act as a boot server, you can disable the boot server process. You can enable the same when required.

• To deactivate and disable the boot server process, use the following commands:

  caf stop sdmpcserver
  caf disable sdmpcserver
  

• To enable and activate the boot server process, use the following commands:

  caf enable sdmpcserver
  caf start sdmpcserver
  

Note: The command must be executed at the boot server.
