Volume File
A file within a directory of a software package volume. The columns contain information about the file, for example, name, size, type, modification date, and attributes.
When you right-click a file, you can choose between the following actions:
Open the file.
Copy the item to the clipboard.
Perform a virus scan for the item.
The action itself is carried out not by CA ITCM, but by the virus checking program configured.
It may be the case that the virus scanner is using another name of the software (based on its UUID) than CA ITCM.
Note: This feature is available when a CA virus scanner is installed. Otherwise it is grayed out in the dialog.
Delete the file.
Tip: You can drag and drop directories and files from the Windows Explorer and add them to the volume. You can also use the clipboard.
