Computer Properties: Computer Tab

The Computer tab provides general information about the agent computer.

This tab contains the following fields:

Name

Identifies the name of the computer.

Domain

Identifies the manager of the computer.

Operating System

Identifies the operating system installed on the computer.

Created

Identifies the date and time when the computer was brought into the scope of the manager.

Changed

Identifies the date and time when details about the computer were modified.

Host Name

Identifies the host name of the computer.

Network address

Defines the fully qualified domain name of the computer in the following format:

machinename.domainname

Example:

Following is the network address of a computer named DSM in the Mycompany.com domain

DSM.Mycompany.com

Host UUID

Identifies the host UUID.

MAC Address

Identifies the MAC address of the computer.

Serial Number

Identifies the system serial number.

Disc Serial Number

Identifies the serial number of the hard disk.

Asset Tag

Identifies the asset tag attached to the computer.
