CPU throttling or processor throttling is the process when the CPU attempts to prevent damage due to overheating. If the CPU temperature exceeds the specified limits, the system throttles down the CPU for cool down. This process takes place when the computer is idle or when no critical tasks are executed on it. The CPU switches to a lower frequency for optimal consumption of energy and to ensure minimal noise from the fans. |

These fields comprise data that various Inventory Detection and Collection modules collect. Total Log Time: Specifies the total time duration over which analysis is performed. It is allowed for the last 30 days or the duration since the last CA ITCM installation, whichever is less. Suspend Time: Includes the sleep and hibernate times. Verify Time: Specifies the actual time that is considered for the analysis. It is the sum of On Time, Off time, and Suspend time. |
