Delete a Note

CA APM lets you delete a note that is attached to an object record.

Important! When you delete an object, you can no longer view the audit history for the object. We recommend that instead of deleting the object, you make the object inactive. That way, you can still view the audit history for the object.

To delete a note

  1. Click the object for which you want to delete a note. For example, click Model, Asset, Legal Document, Contact, Company, Organization, or Location.
  2. Search to find the list of available objects.
  3. Click the object record for which you want to delete a note.
  4. On the left, click Notes.

    The list of notes for the record appears.

  5. Click the Mark for Deletion icon next to the note you want to delete.
  6. Click Save.

    The note is deleted.
