Run the Installation Jobs for a Pax Installation

Submit and run these yourHLQ.SAMPJCL members in sequence. Do not proceed with any job until the previous job has completed successfully.

Follow these steps:

  1. Open the SAMPJCL member IPC3RECD in an edit session, and execute the IPCSEDIT macro from the command line.

    IPC3RECD is customized.

  2. Submit the yourHLQ.SAMPJCL member IPC3RECD to receive SMP/E base functions.

    Third-Party Software for CA IPC is received and now resides in the global zone.

  3. Open the SAMPJCL member IPC4APP in an edit session, and execute the IPCSEDIT macro from the command line.

    IPC4APP is customized.

  4. Submit the yourHLQ.SAMPJCL member IPC4APP to apply SMP/E base functions.

    Third-Party Software for CA IPC is applied and now resides in the target libraries.

  5. Open the SAMPJCL member IPC5ACC in an edit session, and execute the IPCSEDIT macro from the command line.

    IPC5ACC is customized.

  6. Submit the yourHLQ.SAMPJCL member IPC5ACC to accept SMP/E base functions.

    Third-Party Software for CA IPC is accepted and now resides in the distribution libraries.
