Step 2. Perform Verification

After you complete the steps to install or upgrade CA IPC, perform the following to ensure that CA IPC is properly installed.

Note: Press the Clear key to return to the main menu.

1. Sign on to CICS.
2. From native CICS, enter:

   IPCV
   

   Press Enter. This invokes the CA IPC sign-on screen. No password is needed for sign-on.

   The CA IPC Main Menu appears if CA IPC is properly installed.

3. Enter the following command to exit from CA IPC and return to CICS.

   OFF
