This section discusses the preparation that is necessary before beginning to debug a PL/I program and provides a sample PL/I debugging session.
Note: The discussion and sample debugger session that follow are for aprogram compiled under the PL/I Version 2.3 compiler. The basic principals are the same for other compiler levels. For more information on register conventions and program structure, refer to the appropriate IBM documentation.
