Reason:
This message always follows messages DC520000 and DC520001.It appears only under z/VSE and always appears on SYSLST. If OPERATOR CORRECTION or ACCEPT FROM CONSOLE is in effect, it also appears on SYSLOG. A character was found that is not permitted in IDMSFILE syntax.
The user has used a character that makes no sense for IDMSFILE syntax. These include the following:
The asterisk (*) is valid in the starting column to denote a comment card, in which case the rest of the card is ignored. Any characters may occur in a comment card. If the asterisk appears in actual syntax, however, it is also flagged. Note also that in quoted character strings any character may appear and will not be flagged.
Remove the character in error: then rerun the job.
