FILE <file-name>, BLOCK SIZE <block-length> INVALID FOR FILE-TYPE <file-type>.

Reason:

The block size of the data set is either zero, negative, or out-of-range for the particular data set file type (SYSIPT, and so on).

Check for an invalid block size specification in any of the following:

• IDD file entity (z/OS/z/VSE)
• File characteristics definition (z/VSE)
• DD statement (z/OS)
• Data set label (z/OS)

Correct the block size, recompile the map if the IDD file entity was changed, and rerun the job. See the CA ADS Batch User Guide regarding choices for block sizes.
