LOG FILE INITIALIZATION FAILURE DUE TO <reason-code>

Reason:

The batch log data set could not be initialized properly. The <reason-code> value indicates the condition that caused the log initialization failure:

• INIT— The log file was already initialized. A runtime system logic error has occurred.
• STOR— A storage allocation failure occurred. The regions assigned to the application may be too small.
• BRCH— An internal branch failure has occurred. This is a system error.
• IOER— An unrecoverable I/O error has occurred. This could be due to a hardware failure or to a JCL error.
• ATCH— An error occurred while trying to attach the logging subtask.
