Reason:

The map field being edited overlaps the map field that follows it. One of the following events has probably occurred:

• The field being edited is too long
• The attribute byte of the field has been misplaced
• The attribute byte of the following field has been misplaced

The length of a literal field is specified on the Format screen. The length of a variable field is determined by the external picture for the field. The external picture for a field can be altered on the Extended Field Edit screen. A field can be moved by changing the coordinates for the field on the Field Edit screen.
