Reason:
A valid external file record has not been specified. An external file record that has been previously associated with a file via IDD must be specified. No operations can be performed on an external file map until the external file record is specified.
Since no processing can occur on an external file map without an external file record, the online mapping facility automatically displays the extended map definition screen. The extended map definition screen solicits the external file record name.
Specify a valid external file record in the appropriate field on the Extended Map Definition screen.
