Configure the Transformation Settings

Start the PDI application and configure the CA GovernanceMinder server settings. These settings are used by the steps in the transformation to connect to the CA GovernanceMinder server.

Follow these steps:

1. Launch the PDI application, as follows:
   • Windows: Go to Start, Programs, CA, Role & Compliance Manager, Server, Data Integration Tool (PDI).
   • Linux: Click the Data Integration Tool (PDI) icon in your home directory.

   Note: The PDI application is located in the following directory:

   CA\RCM\Server\data-integration

2. Go to File, Open and browse to the following directory:

   data-integration\samples\RCM
   

3. Open the template.ktr file and save it with another name relevant to the transformation you want to create.
4. In the blank screen on the right, right-click and select Transformation Settings.
5. Under the parameters tab, enter the following CA GovernanceMinder server information:
   • RCM Server URL
   • RCM Login Name
   • RCM Password
   • RCM Universe
   • RCM Configuration

Now that the PDI application is configured, you can start selecting the steps for your transformation package.
