Difference Analysis Steps

Perform the following steps for difference analysis:

Identify the aggregate objects that you want to compare.
Run the Compare Aggregate Objects Report for each object that is identified in Step 1, or run the report for all aggregate objects.

Once the collection of aggregate objects that are associated with a change has been identified, it is necessary to determine the exact difference between those aggregates in different family members before performing any migrations. You can analyze detail differences by:
- Generating standard system reports or custom reports that are based on the Public Interface Export and using guide or automated compare techniques.
- Downloading appropriate subsets from both models and using the workstation toolset to review the differences.
