Manage Web Service Definitions

Do the following tasks to manage web service definitions:

To rename a web service definition, right-click it and click Rename. The Rename dialog is displayed. Type the name of the web service definition and click Finish.
To delete a web service definition, select the web service definition, right-click it and click delete. A confirmation message is displayed. Deleting a web service definition will delete all its web services and web operations. But the interfaces that gave origin to those web operations will remain intact.
Although web service definition names are not limited to a certain length, their names must be unique within the first 32 characters. This is due to legacy rules governing names of certain metamodel objects. Note that in the Proxy Code Generation dialog box in the CA Gen Toolset only the first 32 characters of the web service definition will be displayed.
