A Generation Configuration defines the model objects and the target environment parameters that you can specify to generate the source code.
Note: The Generation Configuration menu option and toolbar icon are enabled after you open a model in CA Gen Studio.
Follow these steps:
The Generation Configurations dialog opens.
A new configuration is added under the Cooperative node in the left pane. By default, a system generated name is assigned to the new configuration; however, you can modify the name by providing a new configuration name in the Name field.
The Model Object Selection tab lists the applicable Business Systems that are defined in the Tutorial model.
Note: Selecting all of the lower-level nodes causes the parent nodes to be selected as well.
The Generation Configuration is created.
