Install the Eclipse UI

Mainframe support for the product must be installed before you can use the CA File Master Plus Eclipse UI. For information on installing mainframe support, see the Installation Guide.

Once the mainframe support is installed, install the Eclipse UI on your computer.

Follow these steps:

1. Navigate your web browser to http://hostname:port/software, where hostname and port are defined during the installation of the server framework. See your CA File Master Plus administrator for these values.
2. Follow the instructions on the page to download, unzip, and execute the Windows installation file.

   The CA File Master Plus Setup wizard opens.

3. Click Next and follow the instructions in the wizard up until the Destination Folder page.

   CA File Master Plus is installed for single user only in the Application Data folder, also known as APPDATA, for the user. This action allows the product to be installed and updated without requiring administrator privileges.

4. Click Next.

   The CA File Master Plus Setup wizard displays the Ready to Install the Program page.

5. Click Install.

   When the installation is complete, CA File Master Plus Setup wizard displays the Install Wizard Completed page.

6. Click Finish.

   Your installation is complete. You can launch the CA File Master Plus user interface by clicking the icon on your desktop or selecting Start, All Programs, CA, File Master Plus 9.0.
