Two Suppression Rules Fail to Apply Properly

Symptom:

The following two suppression rules, which are part of r12.0, fail to apply properly:

• TMCM - Virus Signatures & Virus Engine Update Success Messages
• McAfee Virus Signature & Virus Engine Update Success Messages

Solution:

The rules fail to apply properly because of the ampersand in the title. The r12.1 upgrade contains the following replacement rules:

• TMCM - Virus Signatures and Virus Engine Update Success Messages
• McAfee Virus Signature and Virus Engine Update Success Messages

Use these rules instead of the older versions containing the ampersand.
