Attach a Data Movement Rule
You use the Attachment tab in the Data Movement Rule Editor to attach a data movement rule to one or more tables in a model. The Unattached Tables list displays the tables to which you can attach a selected rule.
The Data Movement feature is available in a physical model when you select the Data Movement check box on the General tab in the Model Editor.
To attach a data movement rule
- Click Data Movement Rules from the Model menu.
The Data Movement Rule Editor dialog opens.
- Create or select a data movement rule.
- In the Attachment tab, select any of the following options:
- Double-click a table in the Unattached Tables list, the table appears in the Attached Tables list.
- Select a table in the Unattached Tables list, and then click
, the table appears in the Attached Tables list.
- Click
to move all tables from the Unattached Tables list to the Attached Tables list.
Click Close.
The Data Movement Rule Editor closes.
