Reverse a Transaction

You can perform an opposite action on an entry appearing in the Action Log Details pane using the Reverse feature. This lets you reverse a specific entry or entries within a transaction. The Reverse function is not sequential and may not be a complete reversal, as it is an attempt to restore the model to the best state. When the model is updated, the changes reflect in the Action Log.

For example, if the Details pane displays Created [Entity] object:'Entity_5'(id=5) and you select the transaction and click Reverse, a Delete on Entity_5 is implied.

To reverse a transaction, select a node in the tree containing an action that you want to reverse from the Details pane of the Action Log, and click Reverse on the Action Log toolbar. The opposite action occurs.

Note: Reverse applies to the whole transaction even if only the object or property level node is selected. You can Undo a Reverse procedure, and you can also Reverse a Reverse procedure.
