This step is for all CA Dispatch installations.
If you are planning to access CA Dispatch through VTAM, the VTAM application ID, or APPLID, must be installed. This ID is specified in the Upgrade Parameters worksheet. If you change it, you must rerun the Define Users and the Network step, because the VTAM APPLID also appears in the SYSTEM statement of the CA IDMS batch Sysgen (DSEXUSR1).
The following is an example of how to define the application ID to SYS1.VTAMLST for terminal access:
DISPATCH APPL AUTH=(ACQ,NOPASS,NVPACE,NOTSO,NOPO)
